Louis John Hoffmann
Louis moved to Buffalo, Minnesota in 1910 where he was an electrical contractor. Mr. Hoffman became the first independent electrician in Buffalo, wiring some of the first homes in the village to have electrical lighting. He trained both Walter and John in the electrical trade. June 12, 1913 he married Bertha Crosby who was working as a telephone operator with his brother Henry at NW telephone company. He was an active member of the Odd Fellows Lodge for over fifty years. They had three children: Louis John, George Vincent, and Margaret Elizabeth.
